- <p> DIED. C.V. Wood Jr., 71, master planner who pioneered the
- development of major theme parks, from Disneyland to Six Flags
- over Texas; of lung cancer; in Houston. As Disneyland's first
- employee, Wood supervised the site selection and construction
- of the park in Anaheim, Calif. After leaving Disney, he
- supervised the creation of the first Six Flags theme park, in
- Arlington, Texas, and the moving of London Bridge to Arizona.
